Getting a new laptop computer would not be helpful unless you get a service warranty on the system. Look for a company that uses a minimum of a 3 month service warranty on all the computer systems they offer. They should also provide a service warranty on the repairs they do. Never ever purchase pricey products from a shop that will not offer a guarantee on the items they sell or repair work.
